  1. My best money saving tips are to join all of the birthday clubs for your children. You could practically have a free birthday full of things for them to do. For example, they can get a free kids meal at Burger king, a free scoop of ice cream at coldstone, a free game of bowling at City Lanes, etc...definitly worth the time of entering.

  2. My money saving tip...only take the kids on "Kids Eat Free" nights. It's crazy how expensive it is to eat out these days.

  11. My favorite tip is to inform people to stop wasting $$ on expensive household cleaners. You can get a huge container of white vinegar for $2.00 and a huge bag of baking soda (I know at costco for $5.00). These will last you MONTHS and they do a much better job than the $3.00 per bottle for the commercial cleaners. Using white vinegar on my mirrors make them come out streak free, baking soda/white vinegar in the tub/shower make it sparkle and makes cleaning up soap scum a breeze. I have a chrome sink, it takes the grim of easily and I also pour it down the garbage disposal monthly to clean it out, just put some baking soda in and pour in the white vinegar and let it foam and sit for a while. It also cleans glassware to a sparkling shine. Put it in your dishwasher instead of the expensive Cascade/or the likes. So many uses for this non-toxic stuff, I feel better using this around my family. My dog has skin issues, I give her bathes in diluted water/vinegar and it helps her from scratching. I could go on and on with all I use this on but I will stop there. Good stuff for pennies on the dollar.

  15. A money saving tip is decide and plan ahead before going into the grocery store as to what your going to buy. Make a list of the items you need and only buy what is on that list. Look for those items through the online printable coupon websites and print the coupon to even save more money per item.

Try to avoid the last minute easy grab items at the checkout. They may seem little and inexpensive at the time but the cost does add up.

Also try only doing shopping twice a week and make a habit of using what is in your pantry first before buying more. I had a bad tendency to try and stock up and end up continually spending more money.
